Detailed Description:

On card 20, we see a depiction of a person rising up in response to the call of the angel. This represents the Judgment Day, when the righteous ascend to heaven. But what about those who are not saved? Are they judged as unworthy? Does God reject them because of their sins? This is an aspect of judgment that is still debated. How does judgment coexist with forgiveness?

In reality, judgment exists in two forms. The hurtful form says, “What you did was wrong, and you are a bad and worthless person because of it.” This type of judgment leaves no room for redemption. Evaluating without condemning is entirely possible. We discuss the issue, assess all aspects, and strive to uncover the truth. We acknowledge the necessity of choices and expect courage in making them, without blaming.

When interpreting the card, Judgment card can remind us that judgment is necessary; sometimes you have to make decisions. In those moments, it is best to carefully consider the situation and then commit to not blaming. If you are self-judging, then learn from what you have done. Take in what is valuable, correct what needs to be corrected, but never lose your self-worth.

Card 20 represents a sense of redemption. When the angel calls, you are reborn – cleansed of all sins and burdens. The past and mistakes are behind you, and you are ready to start anew. You may even feel a calling – a personal urge towards the things you were meant to do. If you are going through a difficult period, in need of hope and redemption, then the Judgment card can show you that renewal is within reach.

Upright Meaning of Judgement

Introduction: The Judgment card is about rushing to conclusions, making decisions, and judgments in a hasty manner. If you find yourself caught up in this, it’s a clear sign for you to slow down and think more carefully, giving others “more chances.” This could be a time of spiritual awakening.

Overall: In general, if you have a tendency to jump to conclusions, it’s important to pause. If others are doing the same to you or to loved ones, there isn’t much you can do except recognize that it’s their issue, not yours.

Work: Your efforts are being observed by others. This is an important time for you to invest effort into the details of your work. Ultimately, this may be a positive thing. If you have been working diligently and wholeheartedly, your efforts are likely to be rewarded. If you have been working half-heartedly, now is the time to take your work seriously before experiencing any permanent setbacks in your career.

Love: If you are in a relationship, this is a period of make-or-break. It’s a time for you to clarify what you want from life or from your relationship and then move forward to achieve it. If you are seeking love, a new relationship may be on the horizon in the near future, but you need to be cautious to ensure that you are not jumping to hasty conclusions (positive or negative) about your new love interest. Take it slow and steady.

Finance: Money and contracts are moving in your favor. Things will progress in a significant and positive direction. Do not rush to break any principles, as doing so may come at a high cost. Let caution compensate for the price you have to pay.

Health: This is an important time for you to leave behind the past and the mistakes others have made that have affected you, especially when dealing with a chronic illness. Let go of the desire to prove that what you have done is right, as it will help you feel better. Additionally, if someone has wronged you, remember that they are the ones who are wrong, and there’s no need for you to hold onto anger and prove that they are wrong. Think positively for a change.

Spirituality: You may find yourself seeking spiritual ideas and directions that you have never thought of before. Moreover, you may discover more truths and wisdom there than you have ever imagined. Be open to new ideas and experiences. They may be beneficial to you in ways you can’t anticipate. And you will never know until you truly experience them.

Reversed Meaning of Judgement

Introduction: In reverse position, Judgment card also often signifies jumping to conclusions, decisions, and judgments hastily. If you find yourself in this situation, it is a clear sign for you to slow down and think more carefully and give others “more chances”. This could be a moment of spiritual awakening. This card, in any position (upright or reversed), does not mean that you need to judge someone or something. Especially when Judgment is reversed, it means that you have already done so.

Overview: In general, a reversed Judgment card tells you to carefully consider your decisions. If you tend to jump to hasty conclusions, you should pause. If others are doing the same to you or to loved ones, you can’t do much except recognizing that it’s their issue, not yours. Sometimes, even initial judgments that seem unfair can ultimately bring the best benefits to you. Control what’s within your reach and let go of the rest.

Work: When you draw the reversed Judgment card, remember that many things in your work can change. If you want to keep your job as long as possible, behave as if you know that every second and every minute of your work is being observed. Your efforts are being noticed. This is an important time for you to focus on the details of your work. Ultimately, this may be a good thing. If you have been working hard and giving your best, your efforts are likely to be rewarded. If you have been slacking off, this is the time to take your work seriously before you suffer any permanent setbacks to your career. On the other hand, if you lose this job – and you have been struggling until you draw this card – know that you are moving towards a better situation. Take it step by step.

Love: In reverse position, the Judgment card still implies that this is a time of success or failure. You and those around you may be going through changes. Don’t hold onto your own standards too tightly. If you are seeking love, or if you draw the reversed Judgment card for someone you are interested in, a new relationship may be coming in the near future, but you need to be cautious to ensure that you are not jumping to conclusions (whether positive or negative) about your new love interest and/or vice versa. Slow and steady.

Finances: As they say, don’t bang your head against the wall anymore. Take it one step at a time. If you have made a decision, and you don’t like the path, find another path. There is always more than one option to achieve a goal, and there is always more than one person to help you. This is the time to be flexible with the circumstances, especially when things are not progressing as you hoped they would.

Health: When you draw a reversed card related to health issues, it is a sign of accepting that you can make mistakes or errors but that it will help you feel better. The reversed Judgment card is a reminder to not resist change and accept that the past is gone, and that letting go of anger will make you feel better. Think positively.

Spirituality: The reversed Judgment card, once again, reminds you to be open to new ideas and experiences. In life, change is constant. This doesn’t mean that you have to change everything abruptly and give up spiritual experiences that make you feel comfortable, just that you will benefit from approaching them in a new and different way. They may be helpful to you in ways you can’t imagine. And you will never reap these benefits until you truly open your heart to certain changes.
